Series FS-1 Flexible Screw Conveyor

 
Product Overview:
FS-1 Flexible Screw Conveyor is designed to handle bulk dry powders and granular materials, with the ability to deliver this product at the desired rate and elevation.  A typical application involves the main drive motor hanging from the ceiling, with the discharge point at another specific location and elevation.  The conveyor operates intermittently, running only when it receives a signal from the low level sensor controller.  Once a signal is received the conveyor pulls the bulk product from the lower hopper at the designated rate of speed. 

The FS-1 is designed for easy removal of the screw.  Remove the access doors from the discharge head and the main hopper, then remove two bolts from the drive shaft and the screw will easily slid out the back of the main hopper.

The FS-1 is also designed so that different size screws can easily be changed out.  By removing a few bolts, the flexible tube couplings can be changed out to different sizes.

Space/Environment Requirement
A minimum of 36 inches of space is required around the machine for easy access and maintenance.  The floor must be flat and level, and constructed from a material able to support 900 pounds over a surface area of (4) 16 square inches on a 38 inch center distance.  The temperature surrounding the machine must be maintained between 40 and 110 degrees Farenheit, with a relative humidity below 95 percent.
